Tsay Masters Cats and Light
In studying photography, drawing and other mediums, I learned that much of what you need to learn is how to "see" light and translate it into a work of art.
It's something Wayne Tsay has mastered. He's no Caravaggio, but his loose pastel-y style is purrfect for portraying cats going about their days moving from sunspot to sunspot. As I reviewed his portfolio of cat images I couldn't help but notice how, in many of them, the light is the star of the show.

The takeaway for me is that light is good and I need to be a little bolder in my use of it in my work. Tsay also inspired me to loosen up, something I've been working on for years.
